Meet Your Newmarket Wedding Photographer
Hi, I’m Ainsley, a wedding and family photographer based in Newmarket, Ontario, just north of Toronto.
Photography started very simply for me. I was home with my kids and began picking up a camera to document some of our everyday life. I wanted to capture the little moments that felt too important to forget. The way my kids laughed together, holidays we celebrated, and the quiet in-between moments that somehow meant the most.
How It All Started
What originally started as a way to preserve my own memories slowly grew when friends began asking me to photograph their families and weddings. Those first clients found me through word of mouth, and over time that small circle grew into the couples and families I feel incredibly lucky to photograph today.
Before photography, I studied Early Childhood Education at Tyndale University and Seneca College. That experience shaped the way I approach photography more than people might expect. I naturally connect with children, understand family dynamics, and know how to create an environment where people feel comfortable being themselves.
Many couples tell me they feel nervous about being photographed at first. That’s completely normal! Most people aren’t used to having a camera on them all day. My goal is never to make you perform or force moments that don’t feel natural. Instead, I guide when needed and give you space to just be present together.
My Approach to Wedding Photography
My style is documentary at heart with a soft editorial touch. I am always paying attention to the moments that often go unnoticed.

On a wedding day, my role is to document what is happening naturally while gently guiding you when needed so you can stay focused on what actually matters, being present with the people you love.
