There’s something so timeless about a civil wedding ceremony at Toronto City Hall. It’s intimate, relaxed, and full of emotion in the simplest way. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a lovely couple who chose to celebrate their marriage right in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Before their ceremony, we met at Osgoode Hall for portraits. It’s one of my favourite spots for wedding photos in the city. The historic architecture, grand doors, and quiet courtyards make a stunning backdrop for couples who want something elegant yet classic. The early afternoon light filtered beautifully through the trees, and we captured a mix of candid and posed moments that reflected their personalities perfectly.

After the portraits, we walked over to Toronto City Hall for the civil wedding ceremony. The ceremony itself was short but filled with joy and emotion. Once the couple officially tied the knot, we headed up to the rooftop of Toronto City Hall for a few more photos. The newlyweds shared a few quiet moments together, and I loved capturing the excitement and tenderness between them as the city stretched out in the background.
