Giveaway Rules

1. Who runs the giveaway

The 2027 & 2028 Wedding Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is run by Ainsley Elizabeth Photography of Newmarket, Ontario ("we", "us"). Questions: ainsley@ainsleyelizabethphoto.com.

2. Not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook or any other platform

This Giveaway is run only by Ainsley Elizabeth Photography. It is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, or any other social media platform, website or service where it is promoted or shared. By entering, you release each of them from any responsibility connected with the Giveaway. Your entry goes to us, not to them, so please send any questions about the Giveaway to us.

3. Dates

The Giveaway opens on October 26, 2026 and closes on Sunday, November 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Entries received after closing aren't considered.

4. Who can enter

• You must be a legal resident of Ontario and at least 18 years old.
• You may enter for yourselves or nominate another couple.
• Both people in the couple must be Ontario residents and at least 18 years old, and must accept these rules to receive the prize.
• Our employees and contractors, and their immediate families and households, can't enter.
• Couples who already have a signed wedding photography agreement with us for 2027 or 2028 can't win, but are welcome to nominate another couple.

5. Which weddings qualify

• The wedding is held in Ontario between January 1, 2027 and December 31, 2028.
• The wedding needs at least six (6) hours of photography coverage. Elopements and ceremonies needing less than six hours don't qualify.
• Ainsley must be available on the wedding date. Entries for a date she's already booked aren't eligible.

6. How to enter

• Complete the entry form at ainsleyelizabethphoto.com/giveaway. No purchase or payment is necessary.
• Entries are accepted only through this form. Comments, tags, messages or shares on Instagram, Facebook or any other platform aren't entries.
• One entry per person. If you enter more than once, only one entry counts.
• The marketing consent box is optional and doesn't affect your chances.

7. How the winner is chosen

• This is a contest of skill. There's no random draw.
• After the Giveaway closes, Ainsley reads every eligible entry and chooses the winner based on:

• the sincerity and detail of the couple's story;
• why photographs of this wedding would matter to the couple;
• how well the wedding suits Ainsley's documentary style.

• Each criterion counts equally. If two or more entries are tied, the entry with the stronger story under the first criterion wins.
• Our decision is final. Your chances of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible entries.

8. The prize

One prize is available. It includes:

• up to ten (10) hours of wedding-day photography coverage by Ainsley Elizabeth;
• planning and timeline support;
• an online gallery of edited photographs;
• Ainsley's travel to weddings within about 150 km of Newmarket;
• a 30-minute engagement session;
• additional gifts at our discretion.

Approximate retail value: $5,000 CAD.

Not included:

• a second photographer (one may join at our discretion, but this isn't guaranteed);
• travel and accommodation for weddings more than about 150 km from Newmarket: for those weddings, the couple pays for, or provides, Ainsley's travel and overnight accommodation;
• prints and albums;
• anything not listed above.

The prize has no cash value and can't be transferred. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

9. If you win

• We'll contact the winner by phone and email by November 29, 2026, within 14 days after the Giveaway closes.
• The winner must reply within 7 days, confirm they're eligible, and sign our standard wedding photography agreement.
• If they don't, the prize is forfeited and we may award it to the next-highest-ranked eligible entry.

10. If the wedding changes

• If the wedding moves to another date between January 1, 2027 and December 31, 2028, and we're available, the prize carries over.
• If the wedding is cancelled, or moves to a date we can't photograph, the prize is forfeited. No cash is given instead.

11. Photos and stories

• As a condition of accepting the prize, the winning couple agrees that we may share their names, story and wedding photographs on our website and social media, without further payment.
• We won't share any other entrant's story without permission.

12. Your information

• We use your entry details only to run the Giveaway, and keep them in our client management tool.
• We'll send marketing emails or texts only if you tick the consent box.

13. General

• We may change, suspend or cancel the Giveaway if something beyond our control affects it, as applicable law allows.
• These rules are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada.
• By entering, you agree to these rules.
